Our story
Despite the miles between them, distance couldn’t prevent Justin and Michele from finding each other as soulmates. They were fortunate to match on a dating app and spent over a week in heartfelt conversations before finally meeting in person. Sometimes the best connections happen in the most unexpected places, proving that even through a screen, the heart knows when it has found its match.
First time we met
Their first date was both fun and a bit artless, as they unexpectedly arrived at the restaurant at the exact same time, both eager and early. As Justin nervously rambled on and Michele listened intently, it quickly became clear that sparks were flying, and love was in the air. In just one date, they experienced more together than some couples do in several.
We felt in love
In the first few months of dating, Michele and Justin seized every opportunity to travel together. They visited Justin’s grandparents in Florida, spent time with Michele’s best friend in Iowa, and enjoyed spontaneous weekend getaways in between. It was a classic case of love at first sight, blossoming with every adventure.
She said "Yes"
On a bright and beautiful morning, Michele and Justin set out for an exciting day exploring Chicago. Unbeknownst to Michele, Justin had a ring tucked away in his pocket. Their first stop was the iconic Clarence F. Buckingham Memorial Fountain, where Justin got down on one knee and asked Michele to marry him. Surrounded by friends, the Chicago Air & Water Show, and each other, the couple celebrated what would become an unforgettable perfect day.

Alternatively, the Fairfield Inn & Suites Lake Geneva Marriott is a convenient option located between downtown Lake Geneva, the wedding venue, and the highway. Although it’s a 21-minute drive away (11.5 miles), it may offer more competitive rates for a one-night stay.
For guests attending the wedding, the most convenient option is to fly into Milwaukee Mitchell International Airport (MKE).
The venue is approximately a 1-hour drive from MKE, covering 53.6 miles. Renting a car is recommended, especially for those who plan to explore nearby attractions like Lake Geneva.
